Great Class!!!! Took time to answer any and all questions, explained Key points. Would highly recommend to anyone that is serious about wanting to learn the basics of home and self defense along with anyone wanting to learn and obtain a CCP! Great Course, and reasonably priced.

This father and son team is outstanding. I'm so glad I took their course. I'm retired and I felt the need to know how to protect myself in these changing times. I'm one of those old ladies who is scared of firearms. Jerry picked up on that and I felt, spent extra time in class and on range with me. The simulated target practice, in class, helped before going to the range. All legal aspects were covered. Different examples of firearms and self protection were shown and discussed i.e. taser, pepper spray, etc. We practiced on an air gun prior to the range which helped me out a lot, because I knew a little more what to expect. Jerry has the patience of a saint and could easily be a drivers ed teacher (although he said he wouldn't want to do that). lol. If you are an older female like me and you want to learn self protection...this is the team for you.

This is a training course BEYOND expectation! Before I attended this training, I had a million questions jotted down as I am an attorney and that's how many questions I needed answered. To be honest, by the end of the course, everything was answered and explained to me. I walked in feeling hesitant, walked out feeling confident. Shawn and Jerry are wonderful trainers, they know what they're talking about. The course covers fundamentals, purpose, when, where, and how to use a firearm, and all the legal aspects of carrying a concealed weapon. I didn't have a firearm to train with, they supplied me with one. They provide you with a loaner for the course at the range that is a type suitable to that person. The course schedule is well organized, PowerPoint presentations made, a simulation session, and finally a training session held at a nearby range. There is literature available for purchase which includes everything that was presented in the course. I am SO GLAD I enrolled in this course with Prime Defense Firearms Training LLC. This is the only place I will be recommending to my friends an family. Thank you so very much!

Great class, with a knowledgeable duo. Lots of wisdom, and first hand experience in regards to safe gun handling, gun laws (both in general and for concealed carry), shooting and self defense philosophy and ethics, situational awareness and defensive levels, pistol and ammo types, and shooting techniques. If you've been shooting for 30 years, or you've never touched a firearm, Jerry and Shawn made everything very approachable and stress-free. The class room portion was engaging, and (dare I say) entertaining! I never felt like I couldn't ask a question (even if I was interrupting); Shawn was always eager to answer and discuss, and never made me feel stupid, or that I should know better. It was a great experience, and I'm glad I took the class. Looking forward to getting my physical license in the mail!

From start to finish, this course was absolutely first-rate. It covers a wide breadth of subjects thoroughly in a way both experienced shooters and novices can understand. The instructors, Shawn and Jerry, were exceptionally knowledgeable, kind, and always willing to answer questions. As a prosecutor for over 8 1/2 years, I can particularly vouch for the legal segment of the course. It was thorough, well-organized, and very accurate. Additionally, it was communicated in a straightforward, coherent manner, allowing students of all backgrounds to understand often complex legal rules and concepts. I highly recommend this course.
