Session 1 Firearms 101+ Sunday May 3 9am - noon Session 2 Emergency Reloads & Movement Sunday June 28 9am - noon Session 3 Drawing from the Holster=Cover Sunday July 19 9am-noon Most people think once they complete their CPL class, they’re ready to carry confidently. The truth is, the CPL class is just the beginning. It teaches safety, laws, and basic shooting—but real confidence comes from continued training and repetition in realistic situations. That’s exactly why I created my Three-Part Concealed Carry Series. This series was designed specifically for students who want to move beyond the basics and truly understand how to handle their firearm safely, efficiently, and confidently in real-world situations. My goal is to help you build skills step-by-step so you feel prepared—not just certified. Why This Series Is Special What makes this series different is the structured progression of skills. Each class builds on the previous one, allowing students to grow at a comfortable pace without feeling overwhelmed. You won’t just stand in one place and shoot at a target. You’ll learn how to: Improve accuracy and control Handle firearm malfunctions safely Perform emergency reloads Move safely with a firearm Use cover effectively Draw safely from a holster Build speed while maintaining safety Think through real-world defensive situations These are the skills responsible firearm owners should have—but rarely get from a basic CPL class alone. Another thing that makes this series special is the environment. Students train in a supportive setting where safety, coaching, and encouragement are the priority. Many students tell me this is where their confidence truly begins to grow. Why You Need This Training Owning or carrying a firearm comes with responsibility. If you ever need to use your firearm to protect yourself or your family, it will not happen in perfect conditions. You may have to: Respond under stress Clear a malfunction Reload quickly Move to safety Make decisions in seconds Without training beyond the basics, many people struggle with these situations. This series helps you prepare for the reality—not just the classroom version—of defensive firearm use. It also helps prevent something I see often: students losing confidence because they don’t practice enough after their CPL class. Skills fade without repetition, and confidence disappears without proper training. This series keeps your skills sharp and your confidence growing. What Students Gain From This Series Students who complete this series often experience: Increased confidence in handling their firearm Better accuracy and control Faster response times Stronger safety habits Greater comfort carrying daily A deeper understanding of defensive responsibility Real confidence—not false confidence Most importantly, they gain peace of mind knowing they are better prepared. I recently had the opportunity to train with Amy Lucas through both the USCCA Firearms Instructor Course and the Stop the Bleed course, and I can confidently say it was an outstanding experience. Amy is not only highly knowledgeable and professional, but she is also deeply committed to the success of her students. She takes the time to ensure everyone fully understands the material and feels confident stepping into their role as a firearms instructor. Her passion for teaching and genuine care for her students truly sets her apart. The training was well-structured, thorough, and practical, giving me the tools and confidence to move forward on this new path. It’s clear that Amy isn’t just instructing—she’s investing in people. I highly recommend Amy Lucas to anyone seeking high-quality, professional, and meaningful training.
