Since 2015, Will Luker has been certifying the instructors who go on to train Michigan's concealed carriers. An active law enforcement officer and firearms expert featured in print and on television, Will loves what he does and it shows in every class. Known for a legal curriculum that attorneys, judges, and law enforcement trust enough to attend themselves and recommend to their families, Will brings real experience, genuine passion, and a no-shortcuts approach to every student he teaches.
Dr. Karissa Pelletier holds a PhD in Criminology and Criminal Justice from Arizona State University and is a former NIH fellow at the University of Michigan Institute for Firearm Injury Prevention. Her peer-reviewed research focuses on child firearm injury, death, and storage practices. USCCA-certified instructor, CPL holder, and firearm owner. She teaches CPL and family firearm safety courses alongside law enforcement officers and a USCCA instructor trainer. Evidence-based, non-political.

Attending the full day CPL class at US Gun Classes was an exceptional experience for both myself and my girlfriend. As someone with limited firearm experience, my nerves were gradually put at ease throughout the entire session. The one-on-one training provided was invaluable, I felt really comfortable handling a real firearm for the first time. The pace of the class was perfect, and the instructors, Will and Dan, were incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. The full range experience was a highlight, allowing us to try out various pistols and unique firearms to find the perfect firearm that met our needs and comfort. I left the class feeling more confident and with a clear idea of what I want for my first gun purchase. I highly recommend this class to anyone in Michigan, regardless of experience level!
Great course. My father and I took the course yesterday with Will Luker. It was very comprehensive. We are both veterans and have had a fair amount of experience with firearms but we still learned alot about concealed carry, use of force laws, and defensive pistol marksmanship. Will was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. The 8 hour course flew by and we had a great time at the range. I highly recommend this course to anyone interested in obtaining a CPL.
I recently took the CPL class with Will Luker and I was very impressed. He was incredibly knowledgeable on all the topics covered and is a great teacher that is patient with all the students. The passion that he has for gun rights comes through very clear and because of this his teaching style is enthusiastic and energetic. With at least 8 hours of class it make a huge difference! I have very little shooting experience and he made me feel comfortable and not like an idiot while shooting. I was so pleased with the class that I have already suggested it to several family and friends.
